06 NIGHTS / 07 DAYS PACKAGE (BEST: JANUARY TO MARCH)

 Inclusions: Accommodation on Twin Sharing & on MAPAI Basis. Transportation by Non A/C Tata Indica Car / Ambassador Car (02 Pax.) / Non A/C Toyota Qualis (04 / 06 Pax.) with Driver, Toll, Permit & Parking Charges.

Day 1: Delhi – Rishikesh (254kms/6hr) - After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh  - The 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing & temples. At evening visit Parmarth Niketan for Ganga Aarti. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel. 

Day 2: Rishikesh – Joshimath (252kms/8hr) – After breakfast, drive to Joshimath enroute visit Deoprayag, Rudraprayag & Karnprayag. Arr. Joshimath, check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Shankracharaya Math & Narsingh Temple. Dinner & overnight stay. 

Day 3: Joshimath - Auli (By Ropeway) – After breakfast, transfer to Auli by Ropeway (At your own). Auli is located at an altitude of 2500-3050 metres above sea level, and offers a panoramic view of Mt. Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat, Dunagiri, Beethartoli, Nilkanth, Hathi Parbat, Ghori Parbat, Narparbat and Kamet. The snow dressed slopes of Auli are covered with evergreen conifers and oak forests. Check in Hotel. Rest day at leisure.  

Day 4 & 5: Auli – After breakfast trek to Gorson Bugyal (A big patch of green meadows) (03 kms / one way) it is a very beautiful trek altitude ranging from 2591mts to 3049 metres and we can see whole ranges of Himalyan's peaks on the way to trek. Enjoy Skiing activities. Dinner & overnight stay.    

Day 6: Auli – Rishikesh (252kms/8hr)- After early breakfast, back to Joshimath (By Ropway). Arr. Joshimath, drive straight to Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay. 

Day 7: Rishikesh - Delhi (254kms/6hr)- After early breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport.

Trekking in India Grade I trek  "Easy Trek" : Walking on good trails with gentle  slopes--this is suitable for most people in good  health. The altitudes will  generally not exceed 3500m with days designed to allow you time for wildlife watching, sight- seeing and appreciating the beauty of the valleys and mountains.

 

Indian Himalayas Trekking -  Grade II trek "Moderate   Trek" : Most of our treks fall in to this category and it is typical of trekking in the Himalayas. A reasonable level of fitness is required with the confidence to cope with some longer, more difficult days. Some of moderate treks can reach an altitude of 4500m.

 

Trekking in the Indian Himalayas Grade III Trek Exclusive Trek" : Going up to 5000m is demanding on the body. A good level of fitness is desirable for your  enjoyment of these treks as is a good confidence in high  altitude walking.
